Micron Technology, Inc. in New York seeks an NY UPW/Water Systems Operations Engineer to oversee the design, construction, and commissioning of Ultra-Pure Water systems, coordinating with third‑party firms to meet project specs and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering; PE or water specialist certification a plus.
• 2+ years managing third-party design for UPW or water systems projects.
• Strong knowledge of UPW/industrial water system design, materials, and regulatory codes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee third-party design/vendors for UPW and water systems, including pretreatment, RO, and degasification.
• Review P&IDs and 3D models to ensure compliance with EPA, RCRA, and Clean Water Act.
• Coordinate design with internal teams and vendors to meet timelines and specs.
• Perform QA and risk assessments on third-party designs for regulatory compliance.
• Oversee commissioning and testing with BIM tools and control systems; support startup.
