Job summary

Amgen NC is seeking an Associate Manufacturing - Bulk Drug Substance Upstream to support the facility expansion and startup. You will participate in cell culture operations, seed train, SUBs, perfusion, and related processing, collaborating across functions to enable readiness and technology transfer.

The role requires adherence to cGMP, readiness activities, and occasional non-standard hours with a move to 12-hour shifts as operations mature.

Qualifications

• High School/GED + 2 years manufacturing and/or other regulated environment experience.
• Or Associate’s Degree + 6 months manufacturing and/or other regulated environment experience.
• Or Bachelor’s Degree.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands‑on manufacturing operations including setup, operation, monitoring, cleaning, and sanitization of equipment and assigned areas.
• Run and monitor critical process tasks per approved procedures.
• Complete washroom activities and maintain a clean, compliant manufacturing environment.
