Job summary

Omni Bedford Springs Resort & Spa seeks a friendly Server to deliver warm, personalized service to guests in a historic resort setting. You will greet guests, take orders, upsell beverages, and coordinate with the culinary team to ensure a seamless dining experience.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of serving experience in high-volume or upscale hotel environments, strong wine/beverage knowledge, and flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year serving experience in high-volume or upscale hotel/restaurant outlets.
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, and beer.
• Able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Maintain a professional appearance, attitude, and performance.
• Must have unexpired Food Handlers certification.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge all guests, anticipate needs, and respond to inquiries.
• Provide outstanding service following steps of service and menu knowledge.
• Take orders and upsell beverages and ancillary items when appropriate.
• Ensure accurate delivery of food and beverage orders and communicate dietary needs to the kitchen.
• Assist in seating guests and handling phone duties as needed; upsell where possible.
• Coordinate with the culinary team to meet guest requirements and resolve issues promptly.
