Job summary

Hyatt Regency Salt Lake City is seeking friendly Restaurant Servers to join our team for on-site service at Mar & Muntanya Restaurant in downtown Salt Lake City. You will submit guest menu selections, present beverage options, and deliver a memorable dining experience for guests in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates have upscale dining experience, refined communication skills, and the stamina to stand and lift as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous Upscale Dining experience required.
• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
• Refined verbal communication skills.
• Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Must possess or be able to obtain DABS certification
• Must maintain a current Food Handler permit in accordance with local regulations

Responsibilities

• Submitting guest menu selections and presenting food and beverage preferences.
• Gaining menu knowledge and making recommendations from our cuisine and drink offerings.
• Engaging in casual conversation to create the restaurant experience through service attributes.
• General restaurant preparation and maintaining a sanitary environment.
