Job summary

MIKA Coral Gables, led by Chef Michael White, seeks an experienced Bartender to join a vibrant beverage team. The role emphasizes craft cocktails, Mediterranean-inspired beverages, and a refined guest experience in a high-volume, upscale setting.

The ideal candidate combines strong mixology skills with hospitality excellence, delivering personalized service and expert recommendations while collaborating with the service team. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of bartending experience in upscale, fine-dining, or high-volume restaurants.
• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, premium spirits, wine, and beverage service.
• Experience in a full-service restaurant with both bar seating and dining room beverage production.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and guest engagement skills.
• Ability to multitask and maintain composure during busy service periods.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Experience with Toast POS or similar restaurant systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, attentive, and personalized service to every guest.
• Prepare and serve cocktails, and explain ingredients and pairings.
• Maintain a clean, stocked bar and ensure accurate beverage preparation for all areas.
• Collaborate with servers, bartenders, sommeliers, and management for seamless service.
• Follow safety and sanitation standards and restaurant policies.
