Job summary

White Lodging is seeking an experienced bartender to join our hotel bar team. You’ll craft cocktails, deliver exceptional guest experiences, and thrive in a high-energy, upscale bar environment across premium hotels and rooftop venues.

Qualifications

• Outgoing, social personality with a genuine passion for hospitality and guest service.
• Attention to detail from cocktail presentation to guest satisfaction.
• A positive, can-do attitude and team-player mindset.
• Previous bartending experience preferred; hotel, restaurant, or rooftop bar backgrounds a plus; willing to train the right candidate.
• Knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and responsible alcohol service practices.
• Ability to stand and move at a fast pace for extended periods; flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality bar service to guests — building personal connections through friendly conversation, intuitive drink recommendations, and a welcoming atmosphere.
• Maintain a clean, organized bar station; complete daily bar cleaning and side work to health and safety standards.
• Demonstrate expert knowledge of the full cocktail menu, beer and wine selections, ingredients, preparation methods, and garnishes — confidently answering guest questions.
• Ensure consistent food and beverage quality and presentation that meets guest expectations every time.
• Accurately process all payment methods — cash, card, and digital — and complete end-of-shift reconciliation.
• Promote teamwork and contribute to a safe, positive work environment.
• Card all guests and monitor responsible alcohol service to prevent overservice and ensure liquor law compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
