Job summary

Anova Education is looking for a General Curriculum Special Education Teacher for upper elementary grades in Waynesboro, Virginia. In this role, you will provide tailored instructional support and behavioral assistance to students with disabilities, ensuring they achieve their educational goals as outlined in their Individual Education Plans (IEPs).

You will implement effective teaching strategies, modify curriculums, and collaborate with parents and other professionals to support student development. A Collegiate Professional Certificate with a Special Education endorsement is required. The contract is for 200 days, and salary will be determined by the Board.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as a special education teacher is preferred.
• Knowledge of medical aspects of students with disabilities and implications for instruction.
• Knowledge of techniques needed to integrate special education students.
