Job summary

Montessori Education Centre (MEC), North Campus, invites applications for an Upper Elementary Guide (Grades 4–6) for the 2026-2027 school year. We seek a Montessori educator with Special Education experience or a state-certified Special Education teacher who is passionate about inclusive, child-centered education.

Our charter school serves students from preschool through 6th grade and is committed to fidelity to Montessori philosophy with a collaborative, values-driven community and professional

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and/or Special Education credential (or actively in process).
• Montessori certification preferred (AMI, AMS, NCME, or MACTE-approved programs).
• If not yet Montessori certified, MEC may sponsor Montessori training through a MACTE-approved program, with multiple pathways available depending on background.

Responsibilities

• Support fully implemented Montessori education in a public charter setting.
• Collaborate with a classroom assistant and Outdoor Environment Teacher to support student learning.
• Contribute to a school culture that honors children and educators and supports professional growth.

Upper Elementary Montessori Guide (Grades 4–6)

Montessori Education Centre (MEC), North Campus, is excited to announce an opening for an Upper Elementary Guide (Grades 4–6) for the 2026-2027 school year. We are seeking a Montessori educator with Special Education experience, or a state-certified Special Education teacher who is passionate about inclusive, child-centered education and eager to grow within a fully implemented Montessori environment.

At MEC, Montessori is not an add-on; it is the foundation. Our charter school serves students from preschool through 6th grade and is deeply committed to honoring the Montessori philosophy with fidelity, intention, and heart.
