Job summary

Greenspring Montessori School in Timonium, MD seeks a full-time Upper Elementary Classroom Partner to support ages 9-12 and coordinate Greenspring’s MMUN program. You will work with the Lead Guide to foster independence, curiosity, and social-emotional growth in a collaborative Montessori classroom.

The MMUN Coordinator role includes mentoring students through research, public speaking, and diplomacy, plus managing communications, trips, and fundraising for the New York conference.

Qualifications

• Experience working with elementary-aged children.
• Successful completion of a background check.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Support the daily life of the classroom and collaborate with the Lead Guide to foster student growth.
• Create and maintain an organized Montessori environment and manage classroom materials.
• Supervise students, including during outdoor play and transitions, and observe engagement for learning insights.
• Coordinate MMUN, mentor students through research, writing, public speaking, and leadership.
• Plan, organize, and manage trip logistics, fundraising, and communications with families.
