Gulfstream Aerospace in Savannah seeks an experienced Upholstery Technician III to design, fabricate, and install upholstery and trim within aircraft interiors. You will work with the shop lead on projects, oversee tasks, and mentor peers to ensure high standards of safety and quality.
The role requires a strong mechanical background, proficiency with sewing equipment, and the ability to interpret drawings. This is a full-time, first-shift position in a high-precision aerospace environment.

High School Diploma or GED required. 3 years experience using commercial sewing machines, sergers and/or various hand tools used in the upholstery and carpet trades. experience in aerospace preferred.
Work independently to design, fabricate, and install upholstery and trim items in aircraft interiors. Assist Shop Lead by overseeing projects and providing guidance and direction to co-workers. Mentor and train other Upholstery Technicians.
