Local Intermodal Truck Driver | $72,000 Annual Average

• What You Will Make: Pull in an estimated annual average of $72,000 , backed by a massive $10,000 limited-time sign-on bonus. Weekly earnings typically range between $1,385 and $1,643 based on load variance.
• How You Get Paid: Earn a competitive base of $0.44 – $0.54 per mile , stacked with $35.00 drop/hook pay and safety bonus opportunities.
• The Route & Freight: Run local intermodal freight within a 120- to 150-mile radius of the metroplex, operating out of major local rail yards. You'll drive automatic day cabs pulling 53-foot box trailers with majority no-touch freight (averaging about 4 loads a day).
• Schedule & Shifts: Standard schedule runs Friday through Tuesday, with start times between 08:00 – 15:00. Expect long, high-earning shifts of 10–12 hours (averaging 50–60 hours/week). Note: Shift assignments are finalized at orientation.
• Training & Setup: Day 1 is orientation (08:00–17:00), followed by 5 days of training with a mentor (running their schedule). Position involves slip seating.
• DOT Screening & Requirements: Must pass all mandatory DOT physical examinations, drug testing, and safety screenings. Minimum 3 months of tractor-trailer experience. You'll need to obtain a Hazmat endorsement within 60 days of orientation (using company training modules, non-reimbursed).
