HPE is seeking an experienced Unstructured Data Sales Specialist to drive growth across AI, analytics, cyber resilience, rapid recovery, and file/object modernization. This revenue-generating role requires a seller who can create demand, build pipeline, open opportunities, and sell emerging technologies. The ideal candidate pairs enterprise sales expertise with the technical depth to connect customer challenges and differentiated capabilities to measurable outcomes. Success goes beyond storage refreshes. You will help customers unlock data value, modernize architectures, strengthen cyber resilience, accelerate AI and analytics, and simplify complex environments. The model will adapt to Geo needs, with one Geo leader accountable and country specialists deployed where needed.
7+ years of successful enterprise technology sales, specialist sales, or business development experience. Experience working with and selling to Federal accounts required. Demonstrated ability to create pipeline and close complex enterprise opportunities. Experience selling storage, data infrastructure, AI infrastructure, analytics, data protection, or related technologies. Strong consultative and value‑based selling skills. Ability to understand technical architectures and translate them into clear business value. Proven ability to sell new or disruptive technologies where customer education and market creation are required. Strong executive communication, storytelling, presentation, and negotiation skills. Competitive mindset with experience developing displacement strategies. Ability to work effectively across account executives, technical teams, partners, and executive stakeholders. Willingness to travel for customer and partner engagements.
Because this role covers Federal accounts, US Citizenship is required.
You are a hunter, storyteller, business builder, market creator, and ecosystem orchestrator. You uncover needs before a storage project exists, connect them to differentiated solutions, create executive urgency, and convert conversations into qualified pipeline. Technically credible but not the Solution Architect, you move easily from AI, analytics, recovery, and data architecture to executive discussions of risk, economics, competitive advantage, and transformation. Above all, you turn technology differentiation into customer preference, pipeline, and revenue.

The expected salary/wage range for this position is provided below. Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level. – United States of America: Annual Salary USD 216,000 - 507,000 in District of Columbia & Maryland & Virginia This range reflects the minimum to maximum combined base and target‑level sales compensation that would be paid if the hire performs at 100% of their sales plan. Of that on-target pay amount, the mix of base salary and target‑level sales compensation is 50%/50%.
