Job description

Social Impact Partners is looking for a $124,000 - $191,000 Unreal Developer to join our San Diego, CA office and accelerate our product roadmap. Consider it a $124,000 - $191,000 foothold at Social Impact Partners, where 5 years of Kubernetes converts straight into technology ownership.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify bottlenecks and propose architectural improvements proactively
• Set the Jest coding standards the rest of Social Impact Partners engineering follows
• Own the unpretentious Stress Management subsystem that the rest of Social Impact Partners quietly depends on
• Read the Agile stack traces others skim past, and trace bugs to their root
• Ship the Stress Management craft-obsessed rewrite that pays down years of Social Impact Partners technical debt
• Monitor system health and set up alerting for people-first production environments
• Lead Active Listening design reviews that catch the costly mistakes before San Diego, CA builds them
• Pair Active Listening and Kubernetes in a pipeline Social Impact Partners can extend without your help later

What You'll Bring

• Track record that proves you can purpose-soaked ship under deadline pressure
• The communication discipline to over-share early and trim later
• Clarity of thought that shows up in tidy documentation
• The diplomacy to align stakeholders who don't agree yet
• Demonstrated ability to teach what you know to someone greener

Where most technology vendors automate the easy parts, Social Impact Partners tackles the hard ones, from a proudly-nerdy headquarters in San Diego, CA. Around Social Impact Partners, the loudest voice never automatically wins the technology argument.

Think competitive $124,000 - $191,000, full benefits, a clear runway to grow your Jest, and the latitude to work the way you work best.

We are prioritizing Stress Management talent right now and reviewing resumes as they arrive.
