Job summary

SEACORP is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design and develop unmanned systems payloads, including electronic chassis, containers, and mission modules. The role involves cross-disciplinary teamwork with electrical, RF, and systems engineers to meet DoD and contractor needs.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 1 year of experience, with familiarity in SolidWorks and aerospace/defense design practices preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Minimum 1 year of mechanical engineering experience.
• Experience with SolidWorks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electronic chassis with cross-disciplinary team.
• Perform structural, thermal, and vibration analyses using hand calculations and FEA.
• Create 2D fabrication and 3D manufacturing drawings in SolidWorks.
• Review ICDs and GFI for system integration.
• Support payloads, containerized systems, and mission modules.
• Travel to naval stations as needed.
