Job summary

Complete Quality is seeking a dedicated Lumper to join our warehouse operations team. The Lumper plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient loading and unloading of freight, managing inventory movement, and maintaining safety standards throughout warehouse activities.

The ideal candidate has experience in warehouse distribution, operates heavy equipment safely, and supports seamless shipping and receiving processes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse distribution or logistics.
• Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners.
• Knowledge of inventory management systems.
• Ability to lift heavy loads safely.
• Basic math for counting shipments.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards.
• Strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks using by hand or appropriate heavy equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, adhering to safety protocols.
• Manage inventory movement by scanning items with RF scanners and updating inventory records accordingly.
• Participate in shipping and receiving activities by verifying goods against purchase orders and delivery documentation.
• Perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting to move pallets, boxes, or other cargo (Furniture) within the warehouse.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace to promote safety and operational efficiency.
• Follow all safety procedures related to warehouse operations, including proper use of PPE and adherence to OSHA regulations.
• Support warehouse supervisors in daily operations and communicate any issues or discrepancies promptly.
• Assist with load & unload processes ensuring timely delivery schedules are met. (Able to complete in 3 hours or less.)
• Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them into assigned places.(Furniture)
• Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment.
• Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies.
• Comply with company policies and legal guidelines.
• Help maintain a safe and orderly environment for the facilities.
