Minnesota State Colleges and Universities is seeking a Business Manager (SA27015) to oversee financial planning and budget management for the Centennial Student Union and Student Activity Fee Fund at Minnesota State University, Mankato. The role involves long-range forecasting, process guidance for fund allocations, and daily financial monitoring.

Working hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with a seasonal academic-year appointment.

Qualifications

• This position requires knowledge of GAAP and the ability to coordinate departmental accounting functions.
• Experience with financial, statistical, database, and spreadsheet software is required.
• Ability to analyze financial information to support planning and decision making.
• Strong communication to work with managers, staff, and the public is essential.
• Proficiency in auditing and interpreting financial and budget documents.
• Ability to prepare and interpret complex fiscal records and reports.
• Knowledge of budgeting policies and annual budget processes.

Responsabilités

• Develop long-range financial forecasts for CSU and Student Activity Fee Fund.
• Collaborate with Student Allocations Committee on funding allocations.
• Advise on the annual departmental funding process and transactions.
• Monitor daily finances and maintain accurate records.
