Job summary

Sunflower Bank, N.A. in Salina, KS is seeking a Universal Banker to deliver full-service banking with emphasis on sales and service to new and existing customers. You will handle cash transactions, open or update accounts, and promote other banking products.

Qualified candidates have strong customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced branch environment. Bilingual Spanish is preferred; prior banking experience is a plus but we will train the right candidate.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may meet qualifications.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform full service banking with a primary focus on sales and service to new and existing customers within the branch, including cash transactions and account maintenance.
• Provide information on promotions, new accounts, and banking products to customers in person and on the phone.
• Meet or exceed sales and referral goals for the branch.
• Assist customers with opening or updating accounts and related banking services.

Sunflower Bank, N.A. is looking for an energetic, highly motivated individual to fill the position of a Universal Banker at our Salina S Ohio branch!

Bilingual (Spanish) preferred!

Customer Service experience is a MUST

Cash Handling experience is a MUST

Bilingual (Spanish) preferred!

Banking experience is a plus but not required- WILL TRAIN!

This full-time position works 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Perform full service banking with a primary focus on sales and service to new and existing customers within the branch, with the ability to perform cash transactions, open or update accounts, and provide information on other products and services.
• Ability to focus on and fulfill customer needs to maximize the customer experience on the phone and during branch visits.
• Meets/exceeds sales and referral goals and meets/exceeds individual and branch targets.
• Provide information to customers regarding promotions, contests, and new account options.

Education / Experience Preferred

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• An equivalent combination of education and experienced may meet qualifications
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred

Pay is dependent on knowledge, skills, abilities, experience and location.

Working Conditions

The physical demands of this position require the ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation. Regular walking may be required, along with occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, or climbing. The role may involve lifting or moving items weighing up to 10 pounds.
