Job summary

First Citizens Bank in Florida is seeking a Sales and Service Representative to process transactions, assist customers and educate them on bank products and services. You will refer sales opportunities to branch partners and help meet team goals.

The ideal candidate has at least a high school diploma, customer service experience, and bilingual English/Spanish skills; cash handling experience a plus. This role requires strong communication, adaptability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months of customer service experience required.
• 1+ years of recent banking experience, ideally as a Bank Teller or Universal Banker.
• 1+ years of recent, high-volume cash-handling (USD).
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

The Sales and Service Representative is responsible for processing transactions and other customer service requests in the branch. The position facilitates customer awareness and education of bank capabilities, tools, and resources, and supports the sales efforts of a branch team by identifying and referring sales opportunities to the appropriate bank partner.

Listen attentively and ask insightful questions to understand customer needs and preferences; and take prompt actions to address immediate needs. Proactively look for way to optimize performance by seeking coaching, supporting Bank initiatives and leveraging tools to enhance activities.
• Operations & Administration - Comply with all regulations, bank policies, procedures and delegated authorities to manage risk related to credit, operational, reputational, regulatory and legal aspects of personal interactions, customer transactions and financial exposures. Complete required training by established deadlines. Perform general office management duties as assigned to ensure operational efficiency. Associates in roles defined to take deposits are accountable for transaction accuracy and operational efficiency of that function. The results may include an accountability for individual contribution as well as team performance.

Qualifications & Experiences:

• Basic Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 6 months customer service experience
• Additional Skills and Experiences:
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • 1+ years of recent banking experience, ideally as a Bank Teller or Universal Banker
  • 1+ years of recent, high volume cash-handling ($USD)
