Job summary

The MUSC Wellness Center is seeking student employees to assist in supervising the fitness areas to ensure member safety and enhance their experience.

Roles include overseeing weight room and cardio area, delivering customer service, cleaning equipment, assisting with checkout of equipment, opening/closing the facility, and performing other duties as needed. Applicants must be current MUSC students and obtain CPR/AED certification within 60 days.

Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

• 30% Oversight of the weight room and cardio area to ensure the safety of members.
• 25% Deliver exceptional customer service to members by addressing their inquiries and resolving any issues that may come up.
• 20% Assist with cleaning the exercise equipment at the MUSC Wellness Center.
• 15% Assist members in checking out equipment to fulfill their exercise and recreation requirements.
• 5% Assist in opening and closing the facility as per shift requirements.
• 5% Perform any additional tasks as required.
