The Department of Pediatrics at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is seeking a qualified Pediatrician to join the Child Abuse Pediatrics Division. The Division currently includes one faculty member, one fellow, seven advanced practice providers, and other support staff and PSANEs.
The MUSC Child Abuse program is recognized throughout the community for its expertise. It provides consultation for clinics at MUSC Health in downtown Charleston as well as MUSC Health outreach clinics, the Dee Norton Lowcountry Children’s Center and the Dorchester Children’s Center.
Successful applicants should be board eligible or certified, or have work experience in the field of child abuse as a clinical physician. They should have or be eligible for a South Carolina Medical License.
Responsibilities include patient care, teaching, research work, administration, institutional service, professional development, supervision of clinical nurse specialists, and coordination of care with a multi‑disciplinary team.
