Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC - Univ) is seeking a GME Accreditation Coordinator to track accreditation processes, support program development and assist with GME committees. This role collaborates with GME leadership, staff and program coordinators to ensure compliance with ACGME, CODA and other bodies.
Responsibilities include onboarding, retention of documentation, and maintaining process records.
The GME Accreditation Coordinator is responsible for tracking and monitoring a variety of accreditation and program processes, assisting with program development, monitoring, and providing support for GME committees and subcommittees. This position will work closely with GME staff, GME leadership and program coordinators and directors. They will understand ACGME, CODA, and/or other regulatory bodies requirements for institutional, core and specialty requirements. Bachelor's degree and 1 year of experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Office 365 applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, OneDrive for Business, SharePoint and Teams. Familiarity with MedHub and the ACGME ADS system is preferred. Ability to follow instructions, as well as to generate and maintain written process documentation. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to learn and adopt new technologies and processes. Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a member of a team, including managing multiple tasks and priorities. Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with colleagues and external stakeholders both verbally and in writing. At least one year of experience with Graduate Medical Education is preferred.
A bachelor's degree and one year relevant program experience.
