Job summary

You will perform inspections, load materials, excavate and move earth, maintain haul roads, and collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure reliability and safety on site.

The Multi-Skilled Equipment Operator will demonstrate proficiency in operating loaders, excavators, haul trucks, and other equipment as needed to support quarry operations and achieve production goals.

Essential Functions

• Safely and efficiently operate a variety of equipment (front end loaders; excavators; haul trucks; dozers; graders)
• Maintain precise control of each piece of equipment, adapting to varying terrain and weather conditions.
• Perform pre-and post-trip inspections of all equipment operated, reporting any maintenance needs or safety concerns.
• Load and unload materials, including raw materials, finished products, and waste materials.
• Excavate and move earth, rock, and other materials as needed to support quarry operations.
• Maintain haul roads and work areas, ensuring safe and efficient traffic flow.
• Assist in various quarry tasks, such as stockpile management, plant feeding, and general site maintenance.
• Perform basic maintenance checks on all equipment operated.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams for repairs and preventive maintenance.
