DC Army National Guard is seeking a Unit Supply Specialist to ensure their unit is properly supplied and equipped for missions. You will manage shipping, storage, and supply of equipment, maintain documents, and operate automated systems while securing weapons and ammunition.

The role includes hands-on inventory, maintenance scheduling, and handling unit level computers. Training occurs through Basic and Advanced Individual Training, with paid benefits and tuition support.

Qualifications

• Interest in mathematics, bookkeeping, accounting and/or typing.
• Ability to keep accurate records.
• Enjoy physical work.
• Interest in operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities

• Issue and receive small arms. Secure and control weapons and ammunition in security areas.
• Schedule and perform preventive and organizational maintenance on weapons.
• Operate unit level computers.
