Job Summary The Unit Supervisor oversees daily operations of the nursing unit to ensure high-quality care for residents. This role involves leading and supervising the nursing team, coordinating care plans, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining a safe and efficient environment. The Unit Supervisor fosters a collaborative work culture, facilitates communication with residents, families, and surveyors, and ensures goals related to care quality, resident satisfaction, and staff retention are met.
Qualifications Education: Associate Degree Experience: 1-3 years
Licenses and Certifications Must have and maintain a current, valid nursing license and current, valid CPR certification.
Physical Requirements Sitting, standing, bending, reaching, stretching, stooping, walking, and moving intermittently during working hours. Must be able to lift at least 50lbs. Must be able to maintain verbal and written communication with co-workers, supervisors, residents, family members, visitors, vendors, and all business associates outside of the health campus.
