Job summary

Southern Kentucky Rehabilitation Hospital in Bowling Green, KY is seeking a Unit Secretary to join our inpatient rehabilitation team. This full-time position features 12-hour day shifts and provides clerical support to the nursing unit, patient records, and coordination with other departments.

Qualifications

• Proficient computer skills required.
• Minimum of 1 year clerical experience in a medical setting.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs clerical functions for the nursing unit, including record keeping, maintenance of logs and chart organization.
• Notifies the nursing staff and nurse manager in a timely manner of pertinent patient information, including physician orders, laboratory or test results, and communication from other departments.
