Job summary

Lima Memorial Health System is seeking a Patient Care Tech/Unit Secretary to join our team. The role emphasizes strong customer service, effective communication with physicians, patients, and associates, and the ability to adapt to schedule changes.

Candidates should have or be pursuing required licensures and complete LMHS orientation. Applicants with EMR experience and basic math skills are preferred for efficient patient care support.

Qualifications

• Current BLS required or obtained within three months of hire.
• Must complete LMHS Sec/PCT orientation program and demonstrate competency on all skills.
• Active nurse aide training and competency program completion is required.
• STNA registration in Ohio preferred.
• RN student in 2nd quarter or 1st semester clinicals in a Nursing Associate’s Degree or diploma program, or 2nd year in a BSN program.
• LPN student in 2nd quarter or 1st semester clinicals in a Licensed Practical Nurse Training Program.
