Job summary

CoxHealth is seeking a Nurse Assistant for the Neuro Trauma ICU South in Springfield, MO. The role combines clerical duties with patient support, charting, and equipment organization, within a 36-hour work week on a day shift Fri–Sun.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and, preferably, Nurse Assistant experience. Strong communication and multitasking abilities are essential in this fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred: Nurse Assistant experience.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities; basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform clerical duties and maintain/organize equipment and supplies.
• Schedule appointments and assist with charging, charting, and reports.
• Compile and copy medical charts and documents, plus other duties as assigned.
• Support unit operations in a fast-paced Neuro Trauma ICU environment.

Job Description

Has a basic working knowledge of all unit functions and is responsible for performing clerical duties and maintaining and organizing all necessary equipment and supplies. Duties may include scheduling appointments, charging, compiling and copying medical charts, reports, and other duties as assigned.

Education

• Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Experience

• Preferred: Previous Nurse Assistant experience
