PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Pittsburgh is seeking a Unit Secretary to support nursing unit communications, receive patients, maintain patient records, and transcribe physician orders. You will help keep the nursing station organized and act as a point of contact for staff and physicians.

The role requires a high school diploma (certification preferred) and offers flexibility in scheduling with opportunities for growth, in a hospital network focused on compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• Education and Training: High school graduate or equivalent preferred. Certification as a Unit Secretary preferred.
• Experience: None required. Previous work experience in a medical environment preferred. Experience with office equipment desirable.

Responsabilités

• The Unit Secretary is responsible for nursing unit communication. Functions include serving as a receptionist, maintaining patient records, and transcribing and communicating physician orders as well as maintaining order at the nursing station.
