Ochsner Health seeks a unit-based clerk to support admit, discharge and transfer functions on the assigned unit. The role handles reservations, phones, and responds to patient and staff requests with timely follow-up.
Ideal candidates will have a High School diploma, strong data entry and communication skills, and a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire. Proficiency in Windows applications is required.

Performs various functions to support the department, including processing reservations, managing the phones and following up on patient, family, and staff requests in a timely fashion.
