Worksource Heart of Georgia is seeking a Registered Nurse with supervisory experience to lead licensed and non-professional staff in delivering high-quality resident care in accordance with physician orders and regulatory standards.
The role requires directing medical, nursing and administrative services, implementing policies, and performing rounds to ensure care quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
To provide nursing care to residents as prescribed by the physician and in accordance with standards of nursing practices and regulations, and as may be directed by the Director of Nursing or Nursing department Managers; and, in doing so, to lead or direct licensed and non-professional nursing staff in the delivery or direct resident care and support functions.
Is subject to exposure to infectious waste, diseases, conditions, etc., including TB, and the AIDS and Hepatitis B viruses.

Supervises Certified Nursing Assistants on his/her tour of duty which includes the authority to terminate employment. Termination of employment for other than gross misconduct must get final approval from the DON and the Administrator. May participate in evaluation of CNA’s job performance.
Ability to promote positive relationships with residents, visitors and government regulators. Ability to present a professional appearance and attitude.
