Job summary

Waters of Wakarusa in Indiana is seeking an RN or LPN Unit Manager to join our TEAM. This role oversees nursing duties, conducts rounds, administers medications, and coordinates with physicians and the nursing leadership.

A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible candidates who meet licensure and experience requirements. Ideal applicants have strong leadership, mentoring, and organization skills and are licensed IN RN or LPN with long-term care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Long term care experience preferred.
• Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing and IN license.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and strong organizational skills.
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication, leadership and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Make rounds to observe and evaluate residents' physical, emotional, and social needs.
• Prepare and administer medication charts as required.
• Administer treatments.
• Consult with physicians.
• Communicate with director of nursing and staff.
