Job summary

Join Gulf Coast Village Skilled Nursing as a full-time Unit Manager (RN/LPN) in Cape Coral, FL. This role supervises the day-to-day nursing station operations and coordinates care to residents on a 24-hour basis.

The Unit Manager will lead nursing staff, oversee medication passes, participate in policy development, and ensure alignment with VOANS clinical systems. Excellent supervisory skills and long-term care experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Current licensure in the state of employment as an RN or LPN.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse with previous long-term care experience.
• Must possess effective management and supervisory skills.

Responsibilities

• Directs and oversees the nursing staff to ensure the nursing procedures are followed and reflect the current policies and procedures of the facility.
• Monitor medication passes and treatment schedules to assure that medications and treatments are being administered as ordered.
• Perform direct care related activities as the need arises.
• Participates in the development of policies and procedures pertaining to resident care.
• Perform daily rounds of the nursing unit to ensure that all nursing service personnel are performing their work assignments in accordance with acceptable nursing standards. Perform QAPI rounds.

Pay Range:

• RN: $37.98 – $40.38 per hour
  LPN: $30 - $34 per hour

The Unit Manager is responsible for supervising the day-to-day activities of the assigned nursing station(s), coordination, planning implementing, and evaluating the nursing services provided to each resident on a 24-hour basis.

What You Bring (Requirements)

• Current licensure in the state of employment as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse with previous long-term care experience.
• Must possess effective management and supervisory skills.
