Job summary

Katzman Family Center for Living is seeking an Unit Manager - RN to lead the nursing unit in a full-time role. The position is 40 hours per week, 8:00AM - 4:30PM, Monday to Friday, with on-call weekend rotations. You will oversee nursing operations, mentor staff, and collaborate with physicians to ensure resident-centered care.

Qualifications

  • Active, unencumbered MA Registered Nurse licensure.
  • 2+ years in a clinical supervisor or leadership role.

$46.00 - $51.00/hour, based on experience

  • Oversee the daily operations of the nursing unit, ensuring high-quality, resident-centered care and compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
  • Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff by coordinating assignments, providing clinical guidance, and fostering teamwork and accountability.
  • Assess residents, monitor changes in condition, and collaborate with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Ensure accurate medication administration, documentation, infection control practices, and adherence to state and federal long-term care regulations.
  • Address resident, family, and staff concerns promptly, respond to clinical emergencies, and support quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident outcomes and satisfaction.
Qualifications for Success:
  • Active, unencumbered MA Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
  • 2+ years prior experience in a clinical supervisor or leadership role
  • Knowledge of long-term care regulations, infection control standards, and patient safety protocols in a skilled nursing or similar healthcare setting.
  • Current CPR certifications, including BLS and ACLS.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English - both verbally and written
