Job summary

Meridian Center - NC is seeking a Unit Manager, RN to oversee a nursing unit in a long-term care setting. The role offers a consistent Monday-Friday day shift with no weekends and supports the Director of Nursing in delivering high-quality resident care and achieving positive clinical outcomes.

You will collaborate with staff, physicians and therapists to optimize patient outcomes, while managing staffing, performance and compliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be graduate of an accredited school of nursing, college or university.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing is required.
• Experience in a Long Term Care setting and familiarity with PCC strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, guide and direct the overall operations, coordination and direction of nursing and patient/resident care for an assigned nursing unit.
• Ensure patient/resident care delivery aligns with the mission, vision, values and policies in accordance with standards and licensing requirements.
• Collaborate with staff, physicians and other professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes on the unit.
• Manage HR in the unit, including overtime control, recruiting and orienting staff, evaluating performance and applying disciplinary actions.

Responsibilities:

As a Unit Manager/Director - RN within an assigned unit you will support the Director of Nursing with the delivery of high quality care while achieving positive clinical outcomes, and patient/resident, family and employee satisfaction.

• Lead, guide and direct the overall operations, coordination and direction of nursing and patient/resident care for an assigned nursing unit.
• Ensure that patient/resident care delivery is consistent with the mission, vision, values and company policies in accordance with accepted standards of practice, state and federal regulations and licensing requirements.
• Collaborate with staff, physicians, rehabilitation therapy and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients on assigned nursing unit.
• Manage the human resources in assigned unit to include limiting use of overtime and agency personnel, recruiting and orientating staff, assessing the work performance of nursing staff, and implementing disciplinary action when necessary.

Qualifications:

Posted Salary Range: USD $90,000.00 - USD $95,000.00 /Yr.
