Genesis in Gallup, NM seeks a Unit Manager/Director - RN to lead nursing unit operations, ensure high-quality resident care, and collaborate with physicians and therapy teams. The role reports to the Director of Nursing and includes staff recruitment, scheduling, and performance management to meet regulatory standards.

The posted salary range is $90,480 to $104,000 per year with a $10,000 retention bonus; comprehensive benefits include health/dental/vision, 401K, PTO, and access to 24/7

Qualifications

• Must be graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, guide and direct the overall operations, coordination and direction of nursing and patient/resident care for an assigned nursing unit.
• Ensure that patient/resident care delivery is consistent with the mission, vision, values and company policies in accordance with accepted standards of practice, state and federal regulations and licensing requirements.
• Collaborate with staff, physicians, rehabilitation therapy and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients on assigned nursing unit.
• Manage the human resources in assigned unit to include limiting use of overtime and agency personnel, recruiting and orientating staff, assessing the work performance of nursing staff, and implementing disciplinary action when necessary.

Responsibilities
