Genesis HealthCare, Inc. is seeking a Unit Manager/Director - RN to support the Director of Nursing in delivering high-quality care and achieving patient/resident satisfaction.

The role leads nursing operations on an assigned unit, collaborates with staff and physicians, and manages staffing, performance, and disciplinary actions to maintain compliant, patient-centered care. Posted salary range is USD $83,200.00 - USD $89,440.00 /Yr.

Qualifications

• Must be graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, guide and direct the overall operations, coordination and direction of nursing and patient/resident care for an assigned nursing unit.
• Ensure that patient/resident care delivery is consistent with the mission, vision, values and policies of Genesis HealthCare and in accordance with accepted standards of practice, state and federal regulations and licensing requirements.
• Collaborate with staff, physicians, rehabilitation therapy and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients on assigned nursing unit.
• Manage the human resources in assigned unit to include limiting use of overtime and agency personnel, recruiting and orienting staff, assessing the work performance of nursing staff, and implementing disciplinary action when necessary.
