Genesis HealthCare in New Hampshire is seeking a Unit Manager - Nurse to oversee safe, cost-effective care on a designated unit, ensuring positive patient outcomes and satisfaction. You will lead nursing staff, coordinate with the Director of Nursing, supervise non-professional staff, and support ongoing staff development while maintaining compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of licensed practical nursing.
• Current licensure by the State Board of Examiners of Nurses in the nursing center's state.
• Must have at least one year of nurse management experience.
• Must maintain current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate nursing coverage to provide safe nursing care.
• Provide professional guidance and supervision to non-professional unit staff.
• Identify educational needs of the staff and develop training to address with the Nurse Educator.
• Oversee medication management to ensure adequate supplies and that all medications are handled in accordance with company policy.
• Provide direct patient care along with the other unit nurses to maintain skills.

Posted Salary Range

USD $42.00 - USD $48.00 /Hr.
