Job summary

Journey, a community-driven care provider, is seeking an experienced Nursing Manager to lead the local care team. You will plan, organize, and direct nursing services in alignment with regulations and facility policies.

You will oversee resident assessments, coordinate care, and ensure staffing and quality documentation, while partnering with the Director of Nursing to address concerns and drive continuous improvement. Journey offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of direct care experience in long-term, restorative, or geriatric settings as an LPN/RN.
• At least 1 year of nursing management experience and a current CPR certification.
• Meets all state licensing requirements with no disciplinary actions.

Responsibilities

• Unit Management: Plan, organize, and direct nursing services while ensuring compliance with regulations and facility policies.
• Leadership and Development: Make staffing assignments, encourage professional development, and review documentation for quality and accuracy.
• Resident Care Coordination: Oversee resident assessments, ensure adequate supplies, and address grievances with timely reporting to the Director of Nursing.
