Three Rivers Behavioral Health in West Columbia, SC, is seeking a Unit Coordinator for the Crisis Stabilization Unit serving adult patients. You will help maintain a safe, therapeutic milieu, observe patient behavior, and support nursing assessments and admissions.
The role requires strong teamwork with MHTs and clinical staff; prior behavioral health experience and unit clerk exposure are preferred. HS diploma required; a Bachelor's in psychology is preferred.

The Unit Coordinator will assists with maintaining a safe and hazard free environment by observing and documenting patient behavior, conducting patient room searches, reporting unsafe conditions and applying appropriate emotional and physical support. Will performs or assist with the admission of new patients by gathering routine information for nursing assessment, searches patients and belongings for contraband, documents belongings and other appropriate information. The Unit Coordinator also orients the patient and patient's family to the facility and the policies and procedures, and assists with leading daily unit based groups.
