Trinity Health Ann Arbor is seeking a bedside-support role for the Outpatient Surgery Center on the Day shift. You will assist patients, visitors and colleagues, helping admissions, discharges and transfers while maintaining a welcoming, safe environment.

Employment Type: Full time Shift: Day Shift Description: The Outpatient Surgery Center located at Trinity Health Ann Arbor's Level 1 Trauma Center, with 9 operating rooms that average 40 cases/day. Our mission is to provide the highest-quality care to every patient who requires a surgical intervention; both during preparation for surgery and recovery from anesthesia.
Under the direction and supervision of the Nurse Manager provides support for patients, visitors and colleagues on assigned nursing units. Facilitates efficient patient throughput including admissions, discharges and transfers. Supports patient experience and culture of safety goals through equipment maintenance, unit supplies, unit appearance and overall environment of care. Provides reception type services to patients, families, visitors and other unit guests.
Education: Requires high school diploma or equivalent
Experience: Three to six months previous related experience
Preferred customer service, retail, clerical experience
