Valley Hospital Medical Center in Las Vegas is seeking a Nursing Unit Clerk to support the daily operations of a busy inpatient unit. You will perform clerical and receptionist duties while contributing to a safe and clean patient environment.
Responsibilities include coordinating chart flow, answering calls, and assisting the nursing staff with basic tasks. A high school diploma or equivalent and basic PC skills are required; medical terminology is preferred.

This position is responsible for assisting the planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating the activities occurring in the nursing unit by performing clerical and receptionist duties, and maintaining the physical environment of the area.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Basic PC knowledge and medical terminology.
Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
