Job summary

The Valley Health System's Summerlin Hospital is seeking a compassionate CNA to join our inpatient care team in Las Vegas, NV. You will assist in coordinating nursing unit activities, perform patient care tasks, and support clerical duties to ensure smooth daily operations.

Required CNA license in Nevada, current BLS, and completion of high school or equivalent. We value strong basic computer skills and accurate medical terminology in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Completion of education/experience necessary to obtain CNA certification from Nevada Board of Nursing.
• Current CNA license in the State of Nevada. Current BLS Certification required.
• Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.

Responsibilities

• Assist the planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating the activities occurring in the nursing unit by performing clerical and receptionist duties, and performing patient care/service activities/procedures as outlined by the state.
