Job summary

Centennial Hills Hospital Medical Center is part of The Valley Health System and seeks a dedicated CNA to support nursing units in patient care and administrative tasks. Responsibilities include planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating unit activities, as well as clerical duties tied to patient services.

The role requires CNA certification in Nevada and current BLS, with high school or equivalent, and the ability to address the needs of patients across age groups on the assigned unit.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent preferred.
• Completion of education/experience necessary to obtain CNA Certification from Nevada Board of Nursing.
• Current CNA license in the State of Nevada. Current BLS Certification required.
• Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating activities in the nursing unit.
• Perform clerical and receptionist duties and patient care/service activities as outlined by the state.

Job Description
