Temple Health is seeking a Unit Clerk for the 5A Medical Surgical unit on the 14-hour evening shift. The role focuses on clerical, receptionist and support duties to keep the unit well organized and prepared to care for patients.
The incumbent ensures adequate supplies, coordinates inter-hospital transport when needed, maintains complete patient records and supports bed turnover, contributing to a smooth, patient‑centered workflow in a busy hospital environment.
Organizes the activities of the nursing unit by performing clerical, receptionist and support duties and maintaining the physical environment of the unit. They assure adequate supplies and equipment to provide care to the patients on the unit, assuring efficient bed turnover, coordinating transportation needs for inter-hospital transports, filing documents into and maintaining an orderly and comprehensive medical record for every patient.
