Job summary

Elior North America is seeking an experienced Unit Chef for the Healthcare Foodservice team in Wernersville, PA. The floating chef will supervise and participate in meal preparation across assigned locations, ensuring high-quality culinary operations and service.

The role requires planning menus, coordinating with district managers, and directing kitchen staff. You will travel up to 75% and bring strong leadership and communication skills to a dynamic healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Certified by a recognized culinary institution or equivalent.
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
• Minimum three years’ experience in culinary management.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Nice-to-have: at least one year of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and supervise culinary operations of retail and catering services.
• Plan menus based on market trends, customer preferences, and nutritional considerations.
• Conferring with district managers or other departments regarding daily aspects of dining service.

The Role at a glance:
