Job summary

UPMC Horizon in Hermitage, PA seeks a Gastroenterologist to join a Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, & Nutrition in a suburban community hospital setting with academic access. This role offers flexible clinic hours, potential for full- or part-time work, and an option for academic involvement.

You will oversee a turnkey GI practice with a substantial patient panel, in a renovated endoscopy department, with support from a broad team of specialists and ambulatory staff.

Responsibilities

• Join the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, & Nutrition at UPMC Horizon in Hermitage, PA.
• Operate in a suburban, community hospital setting with access to translational research.
• 3 full lab days per week
• Flexible clinic hours with full- or part-time options
• Customize your practice and schedule (e.g., trade a lab day for academic time)
• Academic appointment commensurate with experience/interest
• Turn-key practice with limited call
• Renovated/expanded endoscopy department with new equipment
• Opportunity to teach family medicine residents and medical students
• Manage a large patient panel with a strong referral base from the region

• Join the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, & Nutrition at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) in a suburban, community hospital setting. This position offers the best of both worlds - a clinical position in a beautiful suburban area along with academic access to world-renowned colleagues doing translational research in the thematic areas of IBD, pancreaticobiliary diseases, hepatology diseases, functional and pain disorders, nutrition deficits, digestive system cancer risk, endoscopic management of GI cancers, and women’s digestive health.

• Ability to customize practice/schedule (e.g., can trade a 3rd day in the lab for a day at the University pursuing academic interests)
