Job summary

Ferguson in Addison, IL is hiring a Union Warehouse Associate for the 2nd shift. The role pulls, packs, and ships orders using a stand-up forklift and RF technology, while maintaining accurate inventory and a clean, safe work area.

You will operate pallet building and sorting, receive and verify materials, and support continuous improvement in warehouse processes. A high school diploma and 1–3 years of warehouse experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent education.
• 1-3 years warehouse experience in shipping, receiving, delivery, or inventory management is preferred.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a stand-up forklift (order selector/cherry picker) to pull and prepare outbound customer orders.
• Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages.
• Use technology like RF devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders.
• Accurately and timely receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material.
• Clean the workspace as you go and participate with the team in keeping our facility clean, safe, and accident free.
