Job summary

Ferguson is seeking a Union Warehouse Associate to join our Addison, IL team on 2nd shift, Monday through Friday, from 1:00 pm to 9:30 pm. The position pays $21 per hour and involves safe operation of a stand-up forklift to pull and prepare outbound orders.

You'll build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets, use RF devices to scan and sort, and receive, verify, and stock incoming material. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 years warehouse experience, and a commitment to

Job Description:

Ferguson is currently seeking a Union Warehouse Associate to join our team!

Schedule: 2nd Shift - Monday through Friday from 1:00 pm to 9:30 pm

The pay rate for this role is $21/hour

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a stand-up forklift (order selector/cherry picker) to pull and prepare outbound customer orders.
• Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages.
• Use technology like RF devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders.
• Accurately and timely receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material.
• Clean the workspace as you go and participate with the team in keeping our facility clean, safe, and accident free.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent education.
• 1-3 years warehouse experience in shipping, receiving, delivery, or inventory management is preferred.
• High attention to detail.
• Comfortable in a fast paced, changing environment.
• Positive demeanor, dependability, and strong work ethic.
• Self-starter with ability to learn our systems quickly.
• Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50lbs regularly.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
• Continued focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices.
