Job summary

Ferguson is seeking a Union Warehouse Associate in Michigan to perform outbound order preparation. The role requires operating a stand‑up forklift, using RF devices, and ensuring accurate receiving, staging, and stocking of materials.

Responsibilities include building pallets, wrapping and transporting goods, maintaining a clean, safe workspace, and adhering to PPE guidelines. You must have a high school diploma and 0–3 years warehouse experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0-3 years warehouse experience in shipping, receiving, delivery, or inventory management.
• Strong attention to detail in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to learn company systems quickly and adapt to changing conditions.

Responsibilities

Ferguson is currently seeking a Union Warehouse Associate to join our team!
The pay rate for this role is $21.50 hourly.
Schedule: Monday – Friday 1:00pm to 9:30pm or until completion.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a stand‑up forklift (order selector/cherry picker) to pull and prepare outbound customer orders.
• Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages.
• Use technology like RF devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders.
• Accurately and timely receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material.
• Clean the workspace as you go and participate with the team in keeping our facility clean, safe, and accident free.
• Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent education.
• 0-3 years of warehouse experience in shipping, receiving, delivery, or inventory management is required.
• High attention to detail.
• Comfortable in a fast paced, changing environment.
• Positive demeanor, dependability, and strong work ethic.
• Self-starter with ability to learn our systems quickly.
• Experience using material handling equipment is preferred.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work at heights of up to 30 feet.
• Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50lbs regularly up to 90lbs occasionally.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
• Continued focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices.
