Job summary

Graybar's Union Service Center is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler to ensure products are moved accurately and safely to their destination. You will receive, store, select, pack and ship inventory using a Warehouse Management System, and you may operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and carts during a Monday–Friday 1:30pm–10:00pm shift.

Steel-toed boots are required. This employee-owned company emphasizes growth, safety, and dependable attendance.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 required.
• Must pass pre-employment physical testing.
• 2+ years experience preferred.
• Prior large warehouse experience using a warehouse management system preferred.

In this role you will:

• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts and push carts
• Receive and store incoming material in accordance with warehouse management system process
• Select, pack and palletize shipments
• Sort and pack less-than-truckload shipments, conduct cycle counts
• Maintain clean warehouse including following all safety procedures and performing daily safety inspections

What you bring to the table:

• No fear of heights
• Perform physical requirements in a warehouse environment including lifting various loads, cutting wire, climbing ladders and staying on the move in various temperatures, depending on the location; must pass pre-employment physical testing
• Minimum age of 18 required
• Good attendance and work ethic
• 2+ years experience preferred
• Prior large warehouse experience using a warehouse management system preferred

Work Shift and Hours: Monday - Friday, 1:30pm - 10:00pm

Compensation Details: The expected pay rate for this position is starting at $23.50 per hour depending on experience.

Additional Information: Steel toed boots required.
